This is an historical vintage blue glass tomahawk hatchet from the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago. The head of the tomahawk features an embossed likeness of George Washington with the title "The Father of Our Country." The reverse of the hatchet head contains the words "The World's Fair 1893." The end of the handle shows embossed lettering " Libbey Glass Co. Toledo, Ohio". The tomahawk measures 8" L x 4" W. This original commemorative piece is in excellent condition: no chips, nicks, or scratches. Priced at $45.
